An Invitation to the Journey
We’ve walked far. Together or alone, along well-known trails or silent paths, in Italy and abroad. We’ve followed ancient roads, rediscovered forgotten villages, crossed valleys, mountains, and hills. And every time, we’ve come back home with lighter backpacks… and fuller hearts.
But each time we returned, we said to ourselves: our land deserves a walk too.
Our territory – between Valpolicella and Lessinia – is a tapestry of stories, nature, stone, wine, effort, art, and beauty. There was no need to invent anything: we just had to look at it through the eyes of a walker. With that slowness that turns every step into listening, every encounter into a gift.
And so, step by step, this route was born – not as a path to compete, but as a path to tell, to share, to give back.
We know well that there are extraordinary walks in Italy and beyond – and we love them. But we truly believe that ours too is beautiful, and that it has something real and valuable to offer.
This is our invitation.

The “Cammino del Vino e della Pietra APS” association promotes the walking route of the same name, created to enhance the local area and offer opportunities to discover its cultural and natural heritage. The Association accepts no responsibility for any errors, omissions or outdated information on the website or in the materials provided. The contents are intended solely as a general guide: routes, stages, services and environmental conditions may change over time. Information concerning accommodation and food establishments is provided for informational purposes only. The establishments listed are not necessarily partners or organisations formally affiliated with the Association. Some of them, however, are recognised as “Friends” of the “Cammino del Vino e della Pietra APS” association and are therefore particularly committed to welcoming and supporting walkers. “Friend” establishments have official stamps for the walker’s credential and can be identified by the appropriate sign displayed on their premises. In all cases, it remains the walker’s responsibility to contact establishments directly and independently check availability, prices, booking arrangements and any other organisational details. The GPX tracks provided should be regarded as an additional navigation aid. Although they have been walked and checked by the organisation, they may contain inaccuracies due to the devices used to record them and do not replace the navigation skills required in the field. Even when using the GPX tracks, each stage must be undertaken with care and attention, as routes may change due to weather conditions, maintenance work, landslides or other unforeseen circumstances. Every walker is responsible for independently checking the available information before setting out and for behaving responsibly throughout the journey. Walking the route is undertaken at the walker’s own risk. Each person must assess their own physical condition, weather conditions and the state of the trails. The “Cammino del Vino e della Pietra APS” association accepts no civil or criminal liability for injury or damage to people, animals or property that may occur while using the route or the GPX tracks provided.
