The “Cammino del Vino e della Pietra APS” Association

The Cammino del Vino e della Pietra APS Association is a community of walkers, citizens and local organisations who believe in the value of moving slowly and taking care of the places they pass through. The Association currently operates through a single project: the Cammino del Vino e della Pietra, a hiking route created to enhance the cultural, landscape and human heritage of Valpolicella and Lessinia through a participatory, non-profit approach.
The Cammino is not merely a hiking route, but also a tool for civic engagement: a project that brings together people, villages, associations and local institutions around the shared care of the territory.
The Association is made up of citizens, social and cultural organisations, hospitality providers and anyone wishing to contribute to a shared project.
Participation is open to everyone: individual citizens, municipalities, associations and accommodation providers can take part in the Association’s activities and contribute to the development of the Cammino in areas such as education, the environment, culture, slow tourism and light trail maintenance. Hospitality providers—including agritourism businesses, B&Bs, mountain refuges and restaurants—can contribute by sharing their expertise, hospitality, knowledge of the area and relationships within the local community.
The choice to operate as an Association for Social Promotion reflects our commitment to directing all available resources towards the Association’s projects and the local area, while keeping the Cammino accessible, non-profit and firmly rooted in the community that supports it.
The Cammino del Vino e della Pietra APS is therefore a collective, open and evolving project that grows thanks to the contribution of those who walk it, care for it and recognise it as a common good.
See the Association’s Statute.

Warnings and responsibilities
The Cammino del Vino e della Pietra APS Association promotes the hiking route of the same name, created to enhance the local area and provide opportunities to discover its cultural and natural heritage.
The Association accepts no responsibility for any errors, omissions or outdated information contained on the website or in the materials provided. All content is intended for guidance only: routes, stages, services and environmental conditions may change over time.
Information about accommodation and places to eat is provided for informational purposes only. The listed establishments are not automatically affiliated with the Association. Some of them, however, are recognised as “Friends” of the Cammino del Vino e della Pietra APS Association and are therefore particularly committed to welcoming walkers. “Friend” establishments have the official stamps for the Cammino credentials and can be identified by dedicated signage displayed at their premises. In all cases, walkers are responsible for contacting the establishments directly and independently arranging availability, costs, booking procedures and all other organisational matters.
The GPX tracks provided should be regarded as an additional navigation aid. Although they have been walked and checked by the organisation, they may contain inaccuracies caused by the devices used and do not replace adequate navigation skills in the field. Even when accompanied by GPX tracks, the stages of the Cammino must be approached with care and caution, as routes may change due to weather conditions, works, landslides or other unforeseeable factors.
Each walker is responsible for independently checking all information before departure and for behaving responsibly throughout the route. The journey is undertaken entirely at the walker’s own risk. Each walker must assess their own physical condition, the weather conditions and the state of the trails. The Cammino del Vino e della Pietra APS Association accepts no civil or criminal liability for injury or damage to people, animals or property occurring while using the route or the GPX tracks provided.
