Sega di Ala – Erbezzo
Together we walked the fifth stage of the Cammino del Vino e della Pietra, from Sega di Ala to Erbezzo, crossing some of the most characteristic and evocative landscapes of the Upper Lessinia. From Sega di Ala, the route led us through mountain huts, pastures and wide alpine scenery to Malga Coe and Castelberto, one of the highest points of the stage, with sweeping views over the mountains and the plateau. We then reached Podestaria, a place deeply connected with the history and traditions of Lessinia, before descending through Vajo delle Ortighe and Vajo dell’Anguilla. These are two deep, wild valleys characterised by woodland, rock faces and paths immersed in nature. The day ended in Erbezzo after a long and demanding stage, experienced in a spirit of cooperation and companionship. It was a route that revealed the many faces of Lessinia, from its broad high-altitude pastures to the quieter, more secluded landscapes of its vajos.

Moonlit Night Walk
Together we walked the trails of the Upper Lessinia on an evening made special by the light of the full moon. After dinner at Rifugio El Bloc, we set out on a night walk along white gravel roads, past mountain huts and across pastures, rediscovering familiar places under a completely different light.
The moon accompanied the group throughout the route, illuminating the outlines of the mountains and opening up views across the broad horizons of the plateau. The silence of the night, broken only by our footsteps and conversations, created an especially intimate and evocative atmosphere.
It was a simple yet intense shared experience, enjoyed at the slow pace of walking and with the pleasure of being together—a different way to discover the Upper Lessinia and appreciate its wide-open spaces, tranquillity and distinctive beauty after sunset.

Association Outing in Molina
A day that revealed the spirit of Molina and the value of the communities that make the Cammino del Vino e della Pietra so special. We were guests of the Pro Loco di Molina and the Molina Waterfalls Park, whose members welcomed us with extraordinary passion and generosity and introduced us to some of the village’s most significant places. The morning began along the park’s evocative Black Trail, a route winding through woodland, water and rock in a setting of remarkable beauty. The care devoted to the park, the constant sound of the waterfalls and the coolness of the forest make this a truly immersive experience. After the generous buffet prepared by the Pro Loco, the day continued with visits to the historic Malga Turnaria, a reminder of an ancient form of cooperation and community management, and the Molino dè Lorenzo, one of the eighteen mills that once characterised Molina. Watching the wheel turn again and the old machinery come back to life meant rediscovering a story of work, ingenuity and cooperation.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the Pro Loco di Molina, the Molina Waterfalls Park and everyone whose daily commitment preserves and enhances this extraordinary natural and cultural heritage.

Fosse → Sega di Ala
Together we walked one of the most demanding and spectacular stages of the Cammino del Vino e della Pietra. Fine weather and a close-knit group made the day even more enjoyable as we shared the effort, the views and plenty of conversation along the way.
Starting in the western Upper Lessinia, we reached some of the most significant places on the entire Cammino: Rocca Pia, with its magnificent views over the Adige Valley; Spluga della Preta, a historic abyss and one of the most famous in Europe; and Corno d’Aquilio, one of the highest points on our route.
Along the way we also stopped at Grotta del Ciabattino, a remarkable natural refrigerator, before continuing through mountain huts, pastures and landscapes typical of Lessinia.
The day ended at the Busoni di Cima Borghetto and the First World War positions, in a place where history and nature come together and which offers extraordinary views towards Trentino and the Adige Valley.

Molina → Fosse
We followed a varied route through hamlets, woodland and quarries, enjoying beautiful views stretching from Lake Garda and Monte Baldo to the Lessinia. Nature and history accompanied us throughout the walk.
Thanks to the warm welcome from the Pro Loco di Breonio, we discovered the beautiful Church of San Marziale and joined a visit to the stone quarries of Monte Loffa. On reaching Fosse, we stopped at the “Se Fosse Pietra” festival, with traditional food stalls and opportunities to learn more about the quarries and the many uses of stone.

Amarathon
During the Amarathon di Valpolicella celebrations, several members accepted the invitation from Correre Oltre ASD and took part in the 7 km Family charity walk, accompanying seven people with disabilities who use all-terrain wheelchairs, joëlettes and K-bikes to enjoy sporting experiences.
Our Association is working to develop routes accessible to these mobility aids, so that everyone can experience our Cammino.
Our collaboration with Correre Oltre ASD is both valuable and enriching, bringing new energy to the inclusive Cammino project in which we strongly believe.
Special thanks go to the Eletta Confraternita del Codeghin for supporting us in this important project.

Clean-up of Vajo Baiaghe
Together with our friends from the Pro Loco di Marano di Valpolicella, we spent a day cleaning Vajo Baiaghe, a beautiful natural area near Malga Biancari that had unfortunately long been affected by plastic waste from agricultural activities.
Caring for the local area is one of our Association’s fundamental aims. We are committed to maintaining an attentive, active and cooperative presence in the protection of the environment.
The day ended with a visit to the evocative Covoli, offering everyone a valuable shared experience combining practical work with the discovery of the territory.

Croce dello Schioppo → Negrar di Valpolicella
In collaboration with the Pro Loco di Negrar di Valpolicella, we organised an outing along the final section of Stage 7 of the Cammino. The approximately 13 km route, suitable for most members, passed through some of the area’s most representative places: the ancient quarries of Prun, the medieval courtyard of Monspigolo, Casa Quintarelli and the remarkable Villa of the Mosaics.
The warm welcome at Cascina Capo was particularly appreciated and provided an opportunity for refreshments and companionship along the route.
The day was made even more meaningful by our participation in the Palio del Recioto e dell’Amarone, one of Valpolicella’s most important and deeply felt historic events: a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in local traditions and celebrate the area’s outstanding wines in a lively and festive atmosphere.

Stage 2 of the Cammino – Fumane → Molina
The second stage marked an important transition: from the Valpolicella plain we climbed towards the first hills of the Lessinia and watched the landscape gradually change.
Following gently ascending paths, we entered increasingly natural surroundings and visited evocative places such as the Valpolicella Park, Purano, Santa Maria Valverde, the Roman Temple of Minerva, Malga Biancari and the hamlet of Spiazzo.
As we climbed, vineyards gave way to woodland and vajos, accompanied by traditional dry-stone walls.
Our arrival in Molina, with its stone houses, was particularly appreciated and made even more enjoyable by the welcome from the Pro Loco, which brought the day to a close in a convivial atmosphere.

San Rocco → Fumane
In collaboration with the Pro Loco di Fumane and CTG Genius Loci, we walked the first section of Stage 2 of the Cammino in an accessible outing shared with many participants.
The approximately 13 km route was made inclusive with the support of an organised transport service and led us through places of great interest, including the Temple of Minerva, Santa Maria Valverde, Purano and the Valpolicella Park.
The day also provided an opportunity to present the Cammino at the Municipality of Fumane and involve the local community. It ended with a convivial stop among the food stalls of a historic Valpolicella fair.

Stage 1 of the Cammino – San Pietro in Cariano → Fumane
Stage 1 of the Cammino began in Piazza San Giuseppe and crossed the centre of San Pietro in Cariano among historic villas and old courtyards. It then opened out into the vineyards towards Pulle and the hamlet of Negarine, with its evocative little Church of San Carlo.
The route continued along quiet roads and between rows of vines, passing the monument to former internees and heading towards Villa Serego Alighieri before reaching Gargagnago. From there, the climb to San Giorgio Ingannapoltron provided one of the most memorable moments of the day, with its beautiful parish church and sweeping view over Lake Garda.
The stage then continued along paths and unpaved roads towards Marega, passing Villa della Torre, before reaching Fumane at the end of an enjoyable day shared together.
